A Harmonic Balancer Drill Pin Kit is designed to address issues with the alignment pins on a harmonic balancer, which can often shear off when running at high RPMs. This kit allows for the drilling and re-pinning of the harmonic balancer without removing the crankshaft from the engine.

The goal is to ensure precise alignment and secure reinstallation of the harmonic balancer, thereby maintaining engine balance and performance. These kits are especially useful for high-performance or modified engines where vibrations can be more severe.

Fluidampr recommends pinning the damper to the crankshaft in 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines that exceed 3,500rpm. Kit includes press fit steel dowel pins, drill bit, and reamer tool. Drill fixture also included for accurate alignment with damper's pre-drilled pin hole(s).
